Big thank you to all who participated in the 2007 Winter Festival. We had contributions from all over the community, far and wide. Big thank you to Marlene, Merideth, and Rich from rescue, fire and police who stood by and helped keep us all safe. Many, many cooks who made soups, chowders and chili. The winners all won wonderful prizes. In the Chili 1st was Jen Horner, 2nd Mark Bowman and 3rd Pam Pulsifer and Laura Summa. For the Soup, 1st prize was Arlene Dyer, 2nd Bruce Bowman and 3rd Debbie Bowman. For the Chowder 1st prize was Polly Wentworth, 2nd Andrew Todd and 3rd Ester Knight. We had about 10 entrants in the pie eating contest - what fun to watch! This year we had five plungers (Bob Earnest, Chip Corson, Scott Earnest, Anna Maine and Bev Johnson)- a few who had signed up were either not well or had another family commitment - maybe next year more people will join us, it is very refreshing and really not bad at all. The Rockathon had 5 rockers who raised over $1200! Click here to see images from all the events.
