Message from Violette's family

I don’t even know where to begin—our hearts are so full of gratitude after last night’s incredible benefit dinner. Thank you to CIHCC for hosting and providing such a welcoming space, and to T-Pollock for sharing your amazing music and energy. Your generosity made the night so special.

To all the organizers, volunteers, and behind-the-scenes helpers, and the core crew of Gina, Sam, Deb, Lola, Tad, Tricia and Dan, thank you for your time, effort, and dedication in making everything run smoothly. From setting up tables to serving food and cleaning up, we truly appreciate all of you.

A huge thank-you to everybody who cooked and brought the phenomenal spread of Italian dishes and desserts, and the community of Chebeague as a whole who turned out in full force. Your kindness and support mean the world to our family.

Beyond the incredible generosity, last night was just so much fun! It was wonderful to see everyone, catch up, and share laughs and good company. The sense of togetherness and joy in the room was something truly special. And thanks to all of you, we raised over $5,300 to support Vee’s journey—an absolutely amazing show of love and generosity.

I also want to thank my own family for everything—whether it was helping with the event, offering emotional support, or just being there. This wouldn’t have been possible without all of you, and I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such love.

This journey has had its challenges, but knowing we have such an incredible, supportive community beside us makes all the difference. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
