BOARD OF SELECTMAN MEETING & WORKSHOP
AGENDA

1.        Call to order 7:00 p.m.

2.        Approval of minutes:

2.a for 11-28-07 regular meeting.

         2.b for 12-09-07 special town meeting.

3.     Approval of Warrant #12: To see if the selectmen will act on the administrator’s proposed list of items in the total amount of $47,569.03 to include a transfer of funds within the 7500 Benefits & Insurance account to pay for the Town’s property and casualty insurance premium.

4.     Public Comment.

5.     OLD BUSINESS:

5.1  To see if the selectmen will authorize the Town Administrator to execute an Administrative Services Agreement with the International City Manager’s Association (ICMA) Corporation to allow eligible full time employees to participate in a Deferred Compensation Retirement Plan.

5.2  To see if the selectmen will award the fuel bids.

5.3 To see if the selectmen will establish a process and timeline for the appointment of an assessor.

5.4  To see if the selectmen will receive two memorandum from the Town Administrator pertaining to the establishment of a fund balance policy for the Town and suggestions for FY 08 financial/budgetary goals.

 

6.     NEW BUSINESS:            

6.1  To see if the selectmen will authorize the Town Administrator to enter into an agreement with the MMA Unemployment Compensation Fund.

6.2   To see if the selectmen will set a workshop date to review the Town Administrator’s performance.

 

7.    Adjourn Regular Meeting

 

8.     EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to MRSA 405.6.A.1 to discuss with the Town Administrator matters pertaining to his interviews for appointing a Parking Control Officer and filling the vacant position of the Town Health Officer.

         

9.     WORKSHOP MEETING: The selectmen intend to be in workshop session to further discuss and review provisions of the “draft” personnel handbook prepared by Peter Lowe.
