Dear Community,

As you now know, I have taken a new position over in Yarmouth and will be stepping down as director of The Kids' Place. It has been a privilege to serve the community and its families for the past five years.

I will continue to support The Kids' Place and its importance to the sustainability of our community. I truly believe, as I always have, that child care is of utmost importance to sustainability as most families demand two incomes.

I have enjoyed the children more than you know. It has been incredible to be involved with the same children year after year and to watch them grow and change and graduate into The Chebeague Island School.

I have also had the opportunity to work with many community members who are selflessly devoted to The Kids' Place and the sustainability of Chebeague Island. I want to thank all those who supported me in various endeavors to move The Kids' Place forward and make it a better place.

I have had many volunteers over the past five years and I am thankful for their dedication to the children. From reading stories to rocking babies and helping with cleaning and laundry... The Kids' Place truly appreciates your volunteer efforts and I can't thank you enough for helping out.

I am moving on with high hopes for the future of The Kids' Place. My time has come to grow and change in a new direction. The Kids' Place will welcome fresh eyes and fresh energy. I hope the community continues to support The Kids' Place and its important business of caring for our youngest citizens.

Thanks again for all your support.
