Albert L. Marsh, 71

MEDWAY, MASS. - Albert L. Marsh, 71, of Medway, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at his home in Medway. He was the husband of Carolyn (Wilde) Marsh.

He was born in Cambridge, Mass. on Feb. 20, 1933, a son of the late Albert H. and Gladys B. (Morris) Marsh. He was a resident of Medway for the past 43 years and had previously reside din Belmont. He summered his entire life in Chebeague Island.

Mr. Marsh graduated from Belmont High School in 1950, and attended Boston University and the University of New Hampshire. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving two years and attained the rank of corporal.

Retiring in 1998, he was a service manager at Coan Oil Co. in Natick for 20 years. He was a police dispatcher for the Medway Police Dept. for two years during the late 1970s.

He was a member and former president of the Medway Booster Club and was a former president coach and umpire for the Medway Junior Baseball League.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Kenneth A. and his wife, Rosana of Milford, Allan L. and his wife, Sharon of Chelmsford, James E. and his wife, Patricia of Medway and David H. and his wife, Crystal of Barre; a daughter, Donna H. O'Connor and her husband, Kevin of Medway; a brother, Richard A. Marsh of Simpsonville, S.C.; and 13 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, May 17 at 11 a.m. in the Community Church of West Medway, 199 Main St. in Medway. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Medway.

Calling hours will be held at the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
