To Our Family and Close Friends of mine and my husband's, Captain Jeremy Ames:
Please join us Sunday, Aug 11 at 5:15pm approximately off the east side of Little Chebeague Island by CTC Ferry, fishing boat or recreation boat for Jeremy's (1hour long) Burial at Sea Ceremony.
This is a PRIVATE ceremony due to the limited space on the ferry and for the safety of boats participating in the ceremony.
Jeremy's family asks for respect for the Parade of Fishing Boats which will be conducted around his ashes and CTC Ferry. We ask that invited recreation boats give ample room for the ceremony and Parade of Fishing Boats.
Other places to honor Captain Jeremy can be from Chandler's Beach or The Hook on Chebeague.
If coming by way of the CTC Ferry from Cousins Island, Yarmouth, or from the Stone Wharf on Chebeague Island, here are more details...Please allow our family and friends from the mainland to board the Independence first. He was so loved by so many. We're all so grateful to have you be a part of this special ceremony for our dear sweet Jeremy. We hope to see you there.
Captain Jeremy W. Ames
