LIMINGTON
--Betty Louise Johnson, 78, of Limington died Monday, Sept. 4,
2006, at the Gorham House after a short Battle with Cancer.
She was born in Portland, the daughter
of fisherman Henry L. and Mabel Dyer.
Betty graduated from Chebeague Island
High School class of 1946.
She enjoyed sewing and knitting, but
her most joyest times were spent with the little ones. Her grandchildren
made her life complete.
She was a devoted friend to her faithful
companion Ruby, her pug, whom she taught to Dancee, Dancee, Dancee
for a treat.
She touched so many lives and the fond
memories of her will always remain in our hearts. We will always
love her and she will be missed dearly.
She is predeceased by her brother Henry
L. Dyer Jr. Survivors include her loving companion Ruby; two daughters,
Brenda Klenda and her husband David of Yarmouth, Debra Gregory
and husband Allen of Limington; two brothers, Robert Dyer and
wife Beverly and Kenneth Dyer both of Chebeague Island; sister-in-law,
Jean Dyer of Chebeague Island; and Betty's husband Peter Johnson
along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours, a graveside
service will be held at noon Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at the Chebeague
Island Cemetery. Precession to the Chebeague Island Parking lot
will leave Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland,
at 9, Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006.
