Robert L. 'Bub' Thurlow Jr., 52

NphotoORTH YARMOUTH -- Robert L. 'Bub' Thurlow Jr., 52, of North Yarmouth, passed away on the night of Jan. 29, 2013. He died surrounded by his loving family and friends in his home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bub was born on Feb. 16, 1960, in Portland, the son of Robert and Constance (Avery) Thurlow. He attended Yarmouth schools and went on to become a master plumber, who carried on the family business, Thurlow Plumbing and Heating.

Some of his favorite times were spent camping with his family and friends in Eustis or at the family camp in Rangeley. Bub was full of life and laughter, and lived each day to the fullest.
