FALMOUTH - Daniel J. Feeney, 52, of Balckstrap Road, Falmouth, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002 at a local hospital. He was born in Biddeford , a son of William H. and Doris (Worch) Feeney.
Mr. Feeney was a 1969 graduate of Falmouth High School and was a graduate of SMVTI with a degree in Culinary Arts. For the past ten years, Mr. Feeney had been employed at Tony Roma's Restaurant in South Portland. Prior to that, he had been employed at the Merry Manor for two years. He had also been employed at the Woodlands, Winchester's Restaurant and at the Cascades Restaurant for 15 years, as well as other area restaurants.
He married the former Lynnette Susan Pittfield on Sept. 9, 1978 in Old Orchard Beach. Mr. Feeney enjoyed down hill skiing, gardening and especially boating on Casco Bay, and he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving besides his mother, is his wife, Susan Feeney of Falmouth; a son, Jeffrey R. Feeney and his wife, Lynda of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Doneen Mitchell of Salt Lake City, Utah; a grandson, Zachary W. Feeney of Atlanta, Ga.; and a niece, Shannon Mitchell of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, from 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m. at the Conroy-Tully Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland. A prayer service will follow at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be held in Brooklawn Cemetery.
