Louise was born on Oct. 19, 1930, on Chebeague Island, the daughter of James and Nettie (Doughty) Rich. She graduated from Chebeague Island High School. She dedicated her life to raising her family on Chebeague surrounded by a community of extended family and close friends. She was a talented artist and her paintings captured many beloved island scenes and can be found blessing the walls of many homes.
Louise is survived by her sons, Daniel (Alex) Todd and wife Heidi, and Stephen Todd and wife Vicki; grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Joshua, Cameron, and Caleb; and brother, Herb Rich. She was predeceased by her brother, James Rich Jr., and sisters, Minnie MacNeill and Colleen Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Chebeague United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow at Chebeague Island Hall.
