Nedra C. Baker, 88

WESTBROOK - Nedra C. Baker, 88, of 299 Stroudwater St., died June 11 2003 at a local hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Westbrook, a daughter of Albert A. and Ora M. Littlefield Chaplin. She graduated from Westbrook High School in 1933 and Bay Path Institute in Springfield, Mass. in 1935.

She was a partner in the Simsbury Flying Service in Simsbury, Conn. for 40 years She was a summer resident on Chebeague Island. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church and the Westbrook Women's Club.

She is survived by two sisters, Marion C. Ramoska of Bangor and Bette M. Chaplin of Westbrook with whom she made her home; a nephew, Richard M. Chaplin II, of Westbrook; and three nieces Sally A. Chaplin of Westbrook, Brenda R. Good of Cape Neddick and Gail R. Gordon of Bangor.

There will be no visiting hours. Graveside services 10:30 a.m. Monday, Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook. Arrangements by Chase Funeral Home, 350 Main St., Westbrook. Nedra C. Baker
