LAKE HAVASU, Arizona - Louis F. Osgood, 72, formerly of Portland and Chebeague Island, Maine died October 4, 2001 at his home.
He was born in Portland, a on of Bertha F. Ross and Gerald E. Osgood, and graduated from Deering High School in 1947.
Mr. osgood joined the Army in 1955 and served in Korea, Germany and Vietnam before retiring in 1975.
Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Osgood Katz of Lake Havasu; a son, Michael of California; a sister, Frnaces Osgood Calder of Chebeague Island; a brother Charles Osgood of South Portland, Maine; and two grandchildren.
At his request, there was no funeral. A graveside prayer was held on November 25 at Chebeague Island Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Leon officiating.
