YORK, Maine -- Richard C. Hudgins, 68, died Saturday at home.
Formerly of Andover, Mass., he was a sales representative in the electrical industry for many years and retired from Siemens Corp.
Born in Lawrence, Mr. Hudgins graduated from Punchard High School in 1953, attended Norwich University and graduated from Merrimack College. He was a member of the York Golf and Tennis Club for many years and South Church in Andover. This past year, he won the State of Maine Seniors Golf Championship for the second time.
He leaves wife of 46 years Sally (McCullom) Hudgins; son Jeffrey and his wife Karen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; daughters Leslie McCarty and her husband Michael of Atlanta and Deborah Rahn and her husband Craig of Hampton, N.H.; sister Deanna Atchison of Andover; and four grandchildren. He was the father of the late Steven.

ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours are Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Dewhirst & Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence St., Andover. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at South Church, Andover. Private burial will be in West Parish Cemetery.
