Lyn was the son of Byron and Muriel (Bernhardt) Mason.  Born on May 27, 1922 in College Park, Atlanta, Ga.  He was predeceased by his two brothers, Edward and Kimsey and is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary (Giuliano) Mason and daughter Paula Libby and her husband, Robert and grandson, Nicholas Libby and his sister, Muriel (Mason) Marler. 

Lyn was an honor graduate of Tech High School in Atlanta and proudly served during WWII in the U.S. Navy as an Electrician's Mate second class in the South Pacific from 1942 to 1946.  He briefly attended Georgia Tech in Atlanta  and Coyne Electrical School in Boston after the war.  He stayed active in the VFW in Port Charlotte, Florida, as judicial adjutant general until his illness. 

He was a professional Electrical Engineer with licenses in several states and started his own consulting firm in Boston, Lottero and Mason, and designed industrial and institutional electrical systems around New England and the rest of the country for more than 20 years,  receiving several awards of service.

He was a very loyal Patriots fan and bought a season ticket from the first year of the organization of the team and attended games at all the different locations until his first heart attack in 1978.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wakefield, Mass. 

The family extends its thanks to the Chebeague Island Rescue, Chebeague Health Center and Hospice of Venice, Florida for their generous and loving  care of Lyn and Mary.

A memorial interment service in Wakefield, Mass. will be announced later.
