What a terrific evening Cultural Technology Night was. We started with all kinds of homemade pizzas and then the students in the 3rd through 5th grade class presented a short power point about their projects. They explained how they chose who to interview and how they went about writing the documentaries about the person they interviewed. They also told how they made their iMovies and some of the techniques used. Click here to see the preview.

We then followed with their iMovies which included Suhail Bisharat about Jordan interviewed by Laura, Jerry Wiles interviewed about his time in Germany interviewed by Aaron, Chris Rich was interviewed about Iceland by Elias, Beth Howe interviewed by Braeden about Norway, Peter Olney interviewed by Reuban about his time in Germany, Beth Dyer interviewed by Tiffany about her two years in Central African Republic, Leila Bisharat interviewed by Stephen on Egypt and Paul Belesca interviewed by Ethan about his time as a Merchant Marine around the world.

We made up a DVD of all our iMovies which you can buy from the school children if you didn't get a chance to see it yourself. The money raised is to help pay for their trip to Boston Museum of Science and the Freedom Trail.
