On our way to Acadia we met the Art teacher Louisa Wickard at the Bernard Langlais Sculpture Preserve in Cushing Maine. We met Annette Naegel who is head of the Georges River Land Trust who is partnering with Kohler Foundation and Colby College Museum of Art to restore Langais home, studio, property and extensive art collection. We arrived at our cabins where the students all had a great afternoon in the woods, on the water, and beach followed by a cookout by the cabins. Marty, Kristin and Bevery went on a short hike up Beech Mountain.
