Chebeague
School Appreciation Night. The children displayed their artwork,
sang and played the violin and other instruments. We also had
the special treat of having the Greely High School Jazz Band
perform for us with Tyler Putnam accompanying the group. Our
graduate from the Chebeague School is Julia Maine.

Welcome to Chebeague
A website was created in the spring of 2005 as a
collaborative effort between students at Bowdoin College and
the Chebeague Island School. The content for the site was inspired
by the third-fifth graders who attend the island school. Bowdoin
College students, as part of a service learning project for their
class entitled the "Anthropology of Islands", designed
and built the website. The project was made possible through
important connections made by the Island Institute and LobtserTales
project.
